We will then take GA 23 south from Folkston to a stop at Spanish Indian Creek and then continue into the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge (ENTRY FEE REQUIRED) for the Swamp Island Drive. Other flowers we may encounter include swamp azalea (Rhododendron serrulatum), rattlesnake master (Eryngium yuccafolium), and several species of milkworts/candyroots (genus Senega). We will be flexible in what we do, as the flowers will dictate where we ultimately go.
